Terms of Service

Last updated 9 September 2026

These terms cover your use of the happiergym app and this website, operated by Victor Lucas. By using happiergym you accept them. If you do not, please do not use it.

1. happiergym is not medical or fitness advice

happiergym suggests weights, sets and reps based on what you have logged. It is software with an opinion, not a person. The feature the app calls “Your coach” (“Seu Coach” in Portuguese) is happiergym’s own AI, not a human coach, a physician or a physiotherapist. It does not know your injuries, your medical history or how you slept.

Lifting weights carries a risk of injury. You are responsible for judging whether a suggested weight is safe for you on the day, and for stopping when something hurts. Talk to a qualified professional before starting any training programme, especially if you have an existing condition or are returning from injury. Never treat a number in this app as a reason to attempt a lift you are not confident you can complete safely.

2. Every number here is an approximation

Treat the figures happiergym shows as estimates, not measurements. Volume, duration, set and rep counts come from what you logged, and are only as accurate as the logging was. Calories are calculated from your body mass, the length of the session and a standard metabolic-equivalent figure for resistance training — the same arithmetic a treadmill uses, and no more precise. Heart rate comes from a watch, when one was worn, and carries whatever error that device has.

None of it is medical-grade, none of it should be used to make a clinical or nutritional decision, and figures may differ from those shown by Apple Health, a watch, or any other app for the same session. Where happiergym reads a value from Apple Health, that value is whatever the source device recorded and we do not verify it.

3. Your account

You sign in with Google or Apple. Keep control of that account, because whoever can sign in can see your training data. If you are not old enough to agree to online services where you live, a parent or guardian has to accept these terms on your behalf and stay responsible for the account. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

4. Your data is yours

The workouts, routines and weigh-ins you record belong to you. We claim no ownership of them. We store and sync them to run the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can delete your account, and your synced data with it, from inside the app.

5. “Your coach” and AI-generated routines

“Your coach” is the name of happiergym’s AI routine builder. It is not a person and no person is behind it: the questions it asks and the short replies between them are written by us in advance, and the routine itself comes from an AI model. No human coach reads your answers or reviews the result.

happiergym can draft a routine from your answers using an AI model. That draft is a suggestion, generated by a probabilistic system that can be wrong, unsuitable or occasionally nonsensical. Review it before you follow it, and apply clause 1 to every set it proposes. You are free to use, edit or discard the routines it produces.

6. Fair use

Please do not:

  • Try to access another user's data, or probe our systems for weaknesses.
  • Automate, scrape or overload the service, or work around usage limits.
  • Resell or redistribute happiergym or its content as your own.
  • Use it for anything illegal.

We may suspend accounts that do these things.

7. Third-party content

Some exercise descriptions and illustrations come from third-party sources, including wger and RepDB, under their own licences. They remain the property of their respective owners.

8. Availability

happiergym is provided free and as-is. We do not promise it will be available, uninterrupted, or free of errors, and we may change or discontinue it. Much of the app works offline, since your data lives on your device first.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, happiergym is provided without warranties of any kind, and Victor Lucas is not liable for injury, loss of data, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this clause may not apply to you.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use happiergym after a change means you accept it.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. Nothing here removes consumer protections you have where you live.
